Today I recorded sound from Jess' dialogue for the Lucy's voice over in the film. The unfortunate thing is I recorded the first few clips in stereo, this meant the sound was recording from the internal microphone on the Marrantz. After noticing, I changed the setting to record from the shotgun microphone. This really improved the sound quality, however I only applied this setting for the last few clips. I have given all sound recordings to the Leanne as she will be doing the sound design for the project.
I booked out the Sony Z1E to record one of my challenges that I do as a hobby. This will enable me to gain some practice with both recording and editing footage from the Z1E. I will read an online manual for the Sony Z1E to understand it in more depth
