Today I had an editing session with Pete, the
session really helped out with some of the problems that occur with producing a
drama. Some issues I came across in
editing included dialogue and camera framing. The choice of shots was limited
as it was only an exercise for the seminar group to learn from, I produced a
sequence inspired by the making picture sequence from The Last Tycoon (1976). Last week our exercise was to set up a set
similar to the making picture sequence, this was the source of our edit. I

The group met to discuss recording and filming over the week, confirmation had be given that the actors are able to act for our production, however our initial choice for pole dancer had changed as the pole dancer became very unreliable, so the group decided to progress with our contingency plan. Currently our schedule is:
Tuesday 1st April
10:00 - 15:00 filming at the pole dancing studio with Amy
Thursday 3rd April
12:00 - 14:00 sound recording of dialogue from Jess
14:00 - 18:00 filming on the bus and argument scenes
Friday 4th April
The first editing session for the rough cut
